Team UniSA-Australia started Stage Six of the Santos Tour Down Under with the intention of keeping the King of the Mountain jersey on the back of South Australian Luke Roberts, and they did exactly that. Roberts, who was riding in his sixth Tour with Team UniSA-Australia, secured the winning jersey in the first of two King of the Mountain sprints today, and also placed 10th overall in the Tour. The race started with youngster Luke Durbridge hitting out hard in a five-man breakaway from lap two. But they were swallowed up by the peloton by lap seven after one last breakaway effort by South Australian Stuart O'Grady and Durbridge. It was at the start of lap 10 that Roberts made his move to secure the King of the Mountain title.
